The Service is a free, browser-based tool that converts text into speech using your web browser's built-in speech engine. Speech is generated using on-device (local) voices, and the text you enter is processed within your browser. No text or audio is uploaded to our servers.

The voices available through the Service are provided by your operating system and browser, not by us. The number, quality, and language of available voices vary between devices and browsers, and are entirely outside of our control. If your device does not provide local voices, the Service may be unable to produce audio.
